Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are always accepted. Potential donors must bring a photo I.D. and generally a minimum weight of 110 pounds is required.

Blood Drive at Shepherd of the Hills Church - Richfield June 6th

On June 6, 2012 members of Shepherd of the Hills Church and residents of the surrounding Richfield and Germantown communities will be able to donate blood. The church is located at 1350 Hwy 175, Hubertus, in the Village of Richfield. If you are interested in donating blood and want to sign up in advance call Sue at the church office 262-628-2633. Call the church office for hours of donation.

Previously on April 10th, 42 units of whole blood were donated to those in need. Considering many people were gone on a well deserved spring vacation the blood drive was able to provide Southeastern Wisconsin with an additional 42 units and that is absolutely amazing. Thanks so much to all of you, and we look forward to seeing you again on June 6, 2012.

HealthyWage, an online network that pays members who improve their health, has announced "The Wisconsin Matchup” winners. It was a three-month, state-wide, weight-loss contest.

This contest awarded top individuals and corporate teams with $18,000 in cash prizes.

More than 95% of The Matchup's contestants successfully lost weight. They lost an average of 4.5% of their starting body weight.

‘The Wisconsin Matchup leveraged our social network model proven to help motivate and sustain weight-loss,” HealthyWage co-founder David Roddenberry said. “While our company pays all Wisconsin residents $100 to lose weight as a standard part of our year-long program, we’ve found that the free $100 cash incentive is more effective at motivating weight loss when coupled with a matchup or other kind of contest to build excitement and peer support in working toward weight-loss goals.”

The top three winning Wisconsin Matchup teams for 2011 are as follows:
