SUSSEX — The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Sussex Associated Bank early Saturday, July 28th after employees say a man walked into the bank armed with a handgun.
Authorities say the call to 911 came about 8 a.m. But it doesn’t appear the man got any money before he fled the scene. Deputies arrived at the bank shortly after the man took off.
The suspect is described as a black man, about 5’4″ tall, with a short beard.
The FBI is now assisting the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department in this case.
According to FOX6′s media partners at Sussex Patch, this isn’t the first time Sussex’s Associated Bank has been targeted. Two local criminals were recently sentenced for attempting to rob the bank in March.
