Elmbrook Humane Society is a non-profit animal shelter that provides temporary refuge for stray, homeless and deserted animals from all over Wisconsin, until we find them new, permanent homes.

EBHS is the ONLY NO-KILL shelter in Waukesha County. EBHS has no deadline for animals in its care. Animals are placed for adoption as long as they have an adoptable temperament, have reasonable health, and there is room at the shelter. The mission of the Elmbrook Humane Society is to promote the human-animal bond through adoption and education, to proved shelter to homeless animals, and to prevent animal cruelty and neglect.
